Orders are actions that you can queue up for your colonists to do. When and who does these actions is directly dependent on the priorities that are set for each colonist.

Deconstruct Colonists will take apart the highlighted structure or furniture after all normal constructions has been completed. Construct Construction
Mine Miners will mine out the stone or metals from the area. Mine Mining
Haul Things Haulers will carry the marked items to the dumping stockpiles. Haul none
Cut Plants Colonists will cut down marked plants. Plant cut Growing
Harvest Colonists assigned to plant cutting or growing (to plant new crops) will harvest the plants.

Plants will be destroyed if they haven't borne produce or if the colonists are unskilled/injured.

Chop Wood Colonists will cut down marked trees.

Only trees with least 40% growth can be selected.

Hunt Hunters equipped with a ranged weapon will hunt marked animals. Hunt Shooting
Slaughter Handlers will slaughter the marked tamed animal. Handle Animals
Uninstall Colonists will uninstall and box a movable object. It can be sold or reinstalled in a new location. Construct Construction
Claim Colonists will claim neutral structures for the colony. Those structures will be maintained. none none
Strip Haulers will strip selected corpse or wounded.

Clothes stripped from corpses become tainted.

Open Haulers will open the marked container. none none

Plan and Remove Plans are visual indicators to help the player with designing. They don't affect the game.
